    Celebrate San Diego’s favorite time of year with a bang! Special activities this week feature the popular Independence Day celebrations in Coronado, an early Ride & Run, and the largest fireworks display in San Diego County.

    Don’t miss a full day of activity taking place at one of San Diego’s most popular destinations for Independence Day. While early risers grab their spot on Orange Ave for the parade, runners of all ages can participate in the Crown City Classic at Tideland’s Park. Activities will also feature art and a concert at Spreckles Park and will conclude with a stunning fireworks show over Glorietta Bay.

    When: July 4, 2018, 7:00am- 9:30pm (Parade is at 10AM. Fireworks are at 9PM)

    Where: Coronado Island – Parade starts at First & Orange. Fireworks are best seen from the Ferry Landing!

    The largest fireworks display in San Diego County returns this year for another spectacular show by the bay. Witness 17 minutes of colorfully choreographed fireworks launching into the sky from multiple locations around San Diego.

    When: July 4, 2018, 9pm-10pm (Fireworks at 9:00pm)

    Where: Multiple locations; The bay off Shelter Island, Harbor Island, Embarcadero North, Seaport Village, Embarcadero South Marina Park, and Coronado Ferry Landing.

    Independence Day Fireworks in Imperial Beach

    This 4th of July, gather your family and friends for a night of fireworks and beach activity at California’s most southern beach town. Bring a picnic and grab a spot on the sand to enjoy a front-row seat near the Pier. Those facing north can sit back and soak in an amazing panoramic view of all San Diego’s firework shows launching into the sky at once.

    Be one of the many early birds celebrating the 4th on the move! Starting at 6 am, runners and riders of all levels can choose from a 10K Race, 2 Mile Fun Run, 12 Mile Bike Ride, 28 Mile Bike Ride, or a 50 Mile Bike Ride for serious riders.
