    Del Mar Racing season in San Diego kicks off with Opening Day on Wednesday, July 19th. Every summer since 1937, fans have flocked to the Del Mar Racetrack where “the turf meets the surf” to wager on their favorite horses and jockeys. Races run mid-July to early-September, five days weekly (Wednesday through Sunday), with post time for the first race on most days at 2:00 PM. On Fridays first post is at 4:00 PM.

    Hop-Con 5.0: The w00tstout Festival at Stone Brewing


    Stone Brewing’s annual celebration of nth-degree beer geekery is back for a fifth round. This year, in celebration of the Drew Curtis / Wil Wheaton / Greg Koch Stone Farking Wheaton w00tstout quinquennial, Stone Brewing will have all 5 versions on tap for you to sample the full vertical! They are taking over the entire Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens – Liberty Station for the celebration and will be hosting a blast from the past with the best drafts, collaborations & creations from Hop-Cons of yesteryear! Not to mention three custom casks of this year’s Drew Curtis / Wil Wheaton / Greg Koch Stone Farking Wheaton w00tstout!

    Comic-Con® International: San Diego


    It’s that time of year again! Comic-Con® International arrives at the San Diego Convention Center. Comic-Con®I is the largest comics and pop culture event in the United States, attracting thousands of artists, filmmakers, celebrities, and comic fans. This year, Comic-Con® International will once again feature a huge schedule of events.     Ken Ludwig’s Robin Hood!

    Heroes Brew Fest at Waterfront Park


    Heroes Brew Fest returns to transform Waterfront Park in downtown San Diego into a Craft Beer Comic Book on Saturday, July 22nd! Just a short distance from the Convention Center, the year’s craft beer festival will feature Game of Thrones’ Kristian Nairn (Hodor) as the headlining DJ!
