Today is the first day of spring and with that comes lots of fun events to enjoy in San Diego. Open House San Diego
The San Diego Architectural Foundation is offering free access to iconic architecture at specially curated sites through Bankers Hill, Downtown, Barrio Logan and Point Loma where you will have the opportunity to explore 84 sites and to learn more about the historic architecture of these buildings. Anyone interested in the history of San Diego, or its architecture would surely enjoy this event.

Cirque du Soleil Crystal
This marks Cirque du Soleil’s first show ever to be on the ice. Experience world-class acrobats and ice skaters as they challenge the laws of gravity. The show tells the story of Crystal who goes on a quest to fulfill her destiny. This is a once in a lifetime unique performance that ties together circus arts with ice skating. There are only 7 shows, so get tickets while they last.

Bankers Hill Art & Craft Beer Festival
Taking place at the historical The Abbey on Fifth Ave, the 10,000-square foot venue will showcase local artist’s work, provide samples from local breweries and restaurants. Attendees will enjoy unlimited samples from 15 breweries. The event is expected to bring in more than 500 attendees. Buy your tickets soon, last year’s event sold out!

Chamorro Cultural Festival
Come out to California State San Marcos to experience the 9th annual Chamorro Cultural Festival to learn more about the Chamorro culture, health, and language. The festival includes traditional Chamorro music, art, cuisine, dance, and cultural education of this culture from the Mariana Islands. The festival is hosted by CHE’LU, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation and promotion of Chamorro culture, established in 2005.

San Diego Zoo Yaycation
Celebrate the beginning of longer days, and more importantly spring at the San Diego Zoo! The whole zoo blooms into a flower of fun for the whole family. The celebration includes animal experiences, treasure hunts, limited time treats, laughter and fun with Dr. Zoolittle and fun beats from the San Diego Zoo Rock Radio DJ.

San Diego Crew Classic
The first major regatta of the year, the San Diego Crew Classic brings thousands of athletes from over 100 universities, high school programs, and clubs from across the United States to participate in this rowing event. Established in 1973, the Crew Classic is the highlight of rowing competitions for future Olympians and newcomers to the sport.
