This weekend’s concert features the Six String Society, a music theater production from San Diego. Stroll through Liberty Public Market for various food and drink options, or bring your own picnic from home.

    Ocean Beach Street Fair & Chili Cook-Off

    This weekend, Ocean Beach will be cooking up a day of waterfront activity with free public entry. Featuring five stages of live music and entertainment, carnival rides, various food and vendor booths, and a beachside beer garden, this event attracts over 70,000 visitors of all ages. Be part of the chili competition offering dozens of tastings and prizes as well as a Burger-Eating Competition hosted by Hodad’s. Need a ride? Free trolley services will be available from 9:30am to 9:30pm, so you can keep going until sunset.

    Summer Kickoff Party

    Tony Gwynn 5.5K Run & Walk

    In honor of one baseball’s true legends, Tony Gwynn, The Tony and Alicia Gwynn Foundation is proud to host the 5.5K Run & Walk for all to join. The event will feature everything from 5.5K hiking trails and a scenic timed run to a kid’s fun run. While runners make their way the finish line, onlookers can enjoy live music and food and truck vendors, or relax with a fresh brew at the beer garden.
