    Easter has always been the perfect time for family adventures, and San Diego’s sunny weather gives you countless opportunities for fun in the sun! Check out a few of Ascent Real Estate’s favorite picks!

    (1). The Bunny Train is back! An annual tradition, the Pacific Southwest Railway Museum is hosting their bunny train event on select dates April 8-15.     (2). Free Easter Egg Hunt in Linda Vista. Kids of all ages can enjoy the fun of an Easter egg hunt and have their photo taken with the Easter Bunny. Participants will be grouped by age.     (5). “Eggstravaganza” at Birch Aquarium at Scripps. Welcome spring and the changes it brings during this annual event where you can make a shark-themed egg, view a collection of animal eggs, join an “underwater egg hunt” and more.     (6). Pancake Breakfast & Egg Hunt in Fallbrook. A visit from the Easter Bunny, egg hunts sorted by age groups, games and contests make this the perfect event for San Diego families. The event takes place on April 15. Breakfast will start at 8 am and egg hunts will begin at 10 am. Breakfast will be$4-$5. The egg hunt is free.     (7). La Jolla Egg Hunt. This annual family event will feature crafts, goodie bags, a photo op with Peter Rabbit and more. April 15, from 10 am-noon.     (8). Spring Party with Bunny. Kiddos can decorate their own bunny ears, visit real bunnies in a petting zoo, make crafts, plant a flower to take home, have their photos taken with a gentle bunny and join a parade. The fun takes place on April 15, from 10 am-1 pm. Event day passes: $15 per child. Space is limited and is on a first come, first served basis.     (9). Belmont Park’s Easter Bash. On April 16, join the annual egg hunt on the beach (9 am-12:30 pm; register online) as well as an exciting hunt within the park at 1 pm. Don’t miss a special brunch buffet at WaveHouse from 9 am-12:30 pm, and don’t forget to meet the Easter Bunny from 2-4 pm in the food court area.
