    This month, Cardiff-by-the-Sea is proud to present its very own fair honoring man’s best friend. All dogs and dog lovers are welcome to watch or participate in 6 different dog contents ranging from Cutest Puppy and Best Trick to Dog/Owner Look-A-Like. A variety of live music and homemade goods at the Maker’s Market are just more reasons to join the 10,000 four-legged friends, their owners, and family at this free event!

    Chula Vista Lemon Festival

    There will be no sour faces at this fresh summer event! Chula Vista is proud to bring back the Third Avenue Village Association’s Lemon Festival for its 22nd year. Pucker up for a full day of lemon infused activity including live entertainment, a kids’ fun zone, and hundreds of festive booths spanning Third Avenue from E to G Streets.

    Artwalk at Arts District Liberty Station

With more than 200 international, national, and local San Diego artists to browse from, fix your eyes on everything from paintings and sculptures to photography, glassworks, and fine jewelry. Live music, multiple street food options, and Interactive art booths for kids make this event one the whole family will enjoy.

    Hillcrest CityFest Street Fair

    CityFest returns to Hillcrest this August to celebrate community spirit at its best. Drawing crowds of over 150,000, this buzzing event will feature live music, interactive activities, a beer garden, and more than 250 different vendors. Those staying after sunset can dance late into the night with Hillcrest’s top DJ’s under the Hillcrest sign at CityFest Night.

    America’s Finest City Half Marathon & 5K

    Starting at San Diego’s historic Cabrillo National Monument, this year’s 5K Run/Walk and Half Marathon invite all to get up and get moving! Soak in breathtaking vistas of San Diego Bay and the Pacific Ocean as you make your way along the Embarcadero near the waterfront. With 7 aid stations along the course,  all participants will be guided towards the finish line at Balboa Park where a finisher’s t-shirt awaits them.
