    The 8th Annual Finish Chelsea’s Run honors Chelsea King whose life was cut short by the heinous act of a known sexual predator who attacked her during one of her training runs. The annual run/walk is the primary fundraiser for the Chelsea’s Light Foundation Sunflower Scholarship Fund. This year they have joined forces with the Girl Scouts of San Diego.

    This two-day electronic music festival takes places at the 12 acre San Diego Waterfront Park. The event features three stages, 36+ performers, craft beer, food, mixed drinks and more! This year’s CRSSD Festival lineup includes performances by Empire of the Sun, Cirez D, Jai Wolf, Gorgon City, Sasha, and Malaa.

    Spring Busker Festival

    Spring Busker Festival

    A busker is a street performer usually known for their comedic or unusual acts in Boston’s Faneuil Hall or standing like a statue and painted in gold on San Francisco’s Pier 39. This weekend, San Diego’s Seaport Village is hosting the only Busker Festival in Southern California which features artists performing bizarre talents like sword swallowing or knife swallowing.

    Live Mural Painting with Kelsey Montague

    For the third year in a row, internationally acclaimed artist Kelsey Montague will create a live mural in the center courtyard of Headquarters. The live painting will take place on Friday and Saturday and be ready for photos on Sunday. Her work has been featured in Forbes, Entertainment Weekly, Buzzfeed, The New York Times and more. This event is taking place during the Spring Busker Festival.

    San Diego Festival of Science & Engineering – Expo Day

    The San Diego Festival of Science and Engineering is a ten-day event filled with educational experiences. This includes hands-on activities, interactive demonstrations, and dynamic speakers.
